Philip ward is 24 bedded D2A ward, it was newly opened in November 2022 with a new team of enthusiastic staff. The ward caters to patients from hospitals around Staffordshire and Derbyshire who require a D2A assessment or further rehabilitation to facilitate a safe discharge from hospital. It will be expected that you are a role model for the team and will motivate and inspire others to be the very best they can be. We require a strong and visible leader to support the well established band 6 team and Senior Sister, striving towards continued excellence of care for our acutely unwell, vulnerable patients, whilst ensuring flow into and out of the department.
