Support the Costing Analyst so that the monthly SLR information is accurate and produced on a timely basis. Work closely with the Costing Analyst, Head of Costing & other colleagues in the Financial Planning and Information teams, to ensure the necessary information processes are in place to support accurate and timely costing using the Trusts costing software UserCost Work with Clinical and Operational colleagues to improve engagement and use of SLR, PLC and PbR information within the Trust Work within the costing team to work with external stakeholders including NHS England, the Department of Health and other NHS organisations to report, review, revise and benchmark costing information Keep abreast of any new or future planned changes to the structure and scope of the Payment by Results regime. Work closely with the Directorate finance teams, to develop and improve systems and procedures for linking contract activity performance more explicitly with the directorate financial position through Service Line Reporting, in order to achieve more accurate interpretation of variances from plan and to support financial planning. The post holder will combine on the job learning and development while playing a key role in developing the Trust's existing Patient Level Costing (PLICS) Model/Service Line reporting. You will work with key stakeholders across the trust to use PLICs/SLR to further drive efficiency and support patient care. The post holder will support the development of the costing model in line with NHS England's Approved Costing guidance.
