You must be dedicated and committed to providing a high quality service to our patients customers and colleagues and have a flexible approach to working. We have 3 recently installed, modern CT scanners based at Arrowe Park Hospital. NVQ level 3 is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Applicant needs good communication skills, legible hand writing and basic keyboard skills. A basic knowledge of IRMER regulations would be helpful. The trust is committed to improving working lives. Work with the team to maintain cleanliness of the department. Cannulate patients for contrast administration. Assist with stock control/ordering of low cost basic consumables. Liaise with wards regarding inpatient appointment and preparation required for CT examinations. To assist the Consultant Radiologists during Interventional procedure. Explaining the procedures and assisting in dressing and un-dressing of patients as necessary. Assisting patients on and off the examination tables. Ensuring comfort of the patients whilst in the department, ensuring privacy and dignity. To ensure the Health and Safety of his/herself, colleagues, patients in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act, IR17, IRMER 2017 and Wirral Hospital Fire Policy. Following other Trust Clinical Governance standards reporting any potential dangerous hazards to line manager. Making suggestions to department protocols and procedures.
