This post will be based at Links Unit, City Hospital, Aberdeen. The post holder will be responsible for supporting and managing clinicians in the service, currently 15 for this post holder. This may fluctuate and increase or decrease with need and demand. The Medical Secretary will be responsible for all audio typing and booking of appointments for all clinicians they support. As well as all other administrative requirements. Emails, phone calls, general admin tasks and responsibilities. The post holder will be required to support with logging into our phone system daily and supporting reception when required. We are looking for a self motivated person who has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with people working in a flexible way. The successful candidate will work autonomously but should also be a confident team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and possess the ability to prioritise their daily workload to meet service demands. The post holder will be working with new systems and processes and be expected to contribute to the development of these as part of their role. In addition, applicants should have good organisational skills and be confident in their use of IT systems. This post is full-time, worked Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm to provide cover during the CAMHS core hours.
