It is expected that the post holder will be directly involved in Divisional conversations, ensuring that workforce is a key consideration in design and development of new clinical services, encouraging Divisions to think of innovative ways to develop new skills and capabilities to service new delivery models. For the DCS, the role will also be instrumental in the pre-implementation communication activities directed to all staff, with a particular focus on incorporating and reflecting the voice of the workforce in the communications activities. There will be a responsibility to enable the development of change management skills across our workforce so that our supervisory and managerial staff support their teams through these changes. This includes providing practical support to both the wider Implementation Team and clinical teams across the organisation and sharing functionality and anticipated configuration of the new DCS and how operational processes could align. The Deputy Head of Workforce Transformation and Digital Clinical System (DCS) Workforce Lead will be responsible for playing a key role in the implementation of the New Hospital Programme (NHP) and new DCS and the across Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the workforce changes deliver the expected benefits, whilst consulting and engaging with these affected staff during the transition of both major projects. The postholder will recommend courses of action on complex, specialist issues and determine the way forward. "}
