Ward 2 is part of the Recovery and Adaptation Unit which provides rehabilitation for the Older Person and facilitates complex discharge planning in the Community Hospital setting. We are seeking to recruit an individual who will develop skills in medicine of the elderly and work closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to promote a positive patient journey. You will be joining a well established and experienced nursing team and you will demonstrate a keen interest and motivation for caring for the older person and rehabilitation. If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
