Located right in the center of the UK we are ideally placed within easy driving distance of Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester with good public transport routes. We are also very close to the Peak District. Whether you are newly qualified or have experience, we will have something to offer you. We are seeking a Radiographer to be based at our Florence Nightingale Community Hospital and Royal Derby Hospital. This role will support our Community Diagnostic Centre developments which are currently undergoing a significant expansion of imaging services. As part of this role there will the requirement to support a 7 day service. There will also be the occasional need to work in our other Imaging departments should the service need require. This includes Ilkeston Community Hospital, Long Eaton Health Centre and St Oswalds Health Centre. This role provides for a wide range of plain film imaging across the Derbyshire Community and also opportunities to work at a large acute centre. You must be suitably qualified as an HCPC State Registered Diagnostic Radiographer with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent. You will be able to display excellent interpersonal skills with a caring patient centred and flexible approach to work. The work will be based at FNCH and RDH and will assist in covering our 7 day service at this site. We have DR equipment which has recently been replaced and we are also installing a new dedicated Chest X-Ray rooms at Florence Nightingale and Ilkeston Community Hospitals. As a progressive teaching department for Radiographers we have established links with universities and actively encourage CPD and role extension, with support available to pursue academic courses and develop your career within a supportive and friendly environment. We are a QSI accredited department. They may be requirement for you to move between our UHDB sites, dependant on service need.
