This is a temporary role to work various dates in June 2024 and will pay £14.00 per hour. Working hours: Between 9am to 10pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required to work in the evening to support at events. The Hospitality Assistant will assist the Catering Team with the management of the hospitality across the office. Duties will include: Ensure that meeting rooms are maintained for clients and visitors. Prepare refreshments for meeting rooms, following a room-booking schedule. To liaise with the Catering team over catering requirements for sandwich/buffet/formal lunches, evening receptions etc Maintain catering stock control and assist with organising supplies. Assist with the clearing, washing, and polishing of crockery and glassware after each meeting. Set up meeting rooms with Catering requirements and to assist Post Team. Be flexible to work late evenings, which include the serving of Alcohol ( some events will finish around 10pm) The ideal Hospitality/Catering Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience: Hospitality or catering experience in corporate environment Flexible and positive attitude - flexibility needed around working hours Able to maintain a professional attitude Ability to work under pressure Able to prioritise and juggle workload. Excellent time management skills Confident and resilient, experience of working with all levels of staff. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment. Strong team player - willing to support colleagues within the department wherever necessary and appropriate.
