You will provide a comprehensive support service to the Construction Programme Managers, assisting with projects at all stages (Inception/Design/Construction/Handover). The work will be varied and will include meeting contractors/consultants at various centres/sites nationwide to facilitate visits/surveys to potential development opportunities managing small elements of works/projects. We can offer a friendly working environment where teamwork is highly valued and indirectly contributes to the saving and improving of patients lives. You will work with managers and staff across the country and will visit our centres as and when required as part of the Project Team. You will undertake an induction and training programme, with ongoing assessment, and receive ongoing development to support you in your role and achieving your career ambitions. These are full time, fixed term positions for 12 months. In this role you will be: Supporting the Construction Programme Manager in delivery of identified building projects to deliver Stakeholder satisfaction to time, cost, and quality standards. Managing minor Works Projects and/or elements of works Projects in accordance with agreed delegation, responsibility, and processes. Support the Senior Construction Programme Manager in monitoring progress, inspection of Works, on Works Projects across Estates portfolio. Report to Senior Construction Programme Manager on progress on Projects of delegated responsibility. Contributing to development of Estates Solutions to support Project Objectives. Developing continuous construction knowledge and expertise in conjunction with other Estates staff. You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice. "}
