The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, be confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. There is a requirement for a flexible approach to work and an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner. There are multiple demands in this exciting role due to the challenging nature of providing care for patients outside of the hospital environment. The post-holder will however find themselves well supported by a very friendly and enthusiastic team of staff. The post is initially based with a District Nursing Team in the Merthyr area, although you could be asked to work anywhere within Merthyr & Cynon area to meet the needs of the Service.
