The successful candidate will have CCT or equivalent and be on the Specialist Register for Neurology when they take up the post (applications are welcome from those within six months of their CCT date). We are seeking a motivated individual to help develop neurological services. In particular we are looking for an individual(s) who may help develop and deliver an outpatient programme that will create a responsive, flexible outpatient service that meets the changing needs of our local population in the context of the evolving healthcare landscape. The successful candidate(s) will join a team of two other neurologists in providing an outpatient service with the support of a middle grade experienced full time Registrar and two full time specialist nurses as well as the support of community specialist nurses for MS and Parkinson's disease. KGH has in-house EMG service, CT & MRI. Neuroradiology and Neuropathology services are available via Oxford University Hospital. The post will also include dedicated time to attend weekly clinical, educational and neuroradiology meetings. The post will be based at KGH but the post holder has the opportunity to develop/deliver his or her special interests clinic at the Centre at UHCW, CPD activity will also be based at UHCW.
