Join the Infection Prevention and Control team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 6 Infection Prevention and Control Specialist Nurse! Predominantly based at Weston General Hospital in Weston-super-Mare you'll play a vital role in enhancing infection prevention practices and minimising hospital-acquired infections across UHBW. This position offers you the opportunity to gain a formal infection prevention and control qualification within this developmental position, should you not already be qualified. What we're looking for: Passion for patient safety and a commitment to advancing infection prevention and control practices. Ability to provide infection prevention and control advice Proven ability to upskill and educate others Proficiency in managing change Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders You will be supporting the provision of good infection prevention and control practices and providing advice and continuous education to the Trust. This will involve collaboratively working with the Lead Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to drive our infection prevention and control agenda forward at a local level.
