You will work alongside colleagues to provide evidence based therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis. You will also provide wider psychological support to the team including delivering PSI training sessions and facilitating team formulations. There are also opportunities to provide supervision, training and engaging in indirect and MDT working. You will participate in service-related activity including research, service evaluation and audit activities, and will receive supervision from a Clinical Psychologist. The EIT team support individuals 14-65 years old who are experiencing a first episode psychosis. The post holders will be expected to deliver psychological interventions to individuals experiencing a first episode psychosis and their families. You will contribute to MDT meetings and work alongside the wider team to deliver patient-centred care. You will participate in service-related activity including research, service evaluation and audit activities. There is opportunity to contribute to and attend Psychosocial Intervention training sessions delivered across EDIT and EIT. The role can involve liaising with colleagues across other services. The team often have trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement and so there is opportunity to contribute towards their learning and development. Informal discussions and visits are welcomed.
