Line management responsibility, enabling staff to deliver, enhance their expertise and build procurement capability. Creating and embedding an enhanced approach to contract and supplier relationship management within Procurement Solutions. Advising development, implementation and evolvement of strategies, embedding these consistently across each team across Procurement Solutions. Guiding and supervising the development of sourcing strategies across category, to assure competitiveness that will support current business profile and new initiatives. What youll bring: CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply Proven experience within a category management and contract & supplier relationship management environment within the public sector. Sound understanding of operating within a Public Sector Buying organisation environment. Background within the NHS landscape at a senior level to identify and solution complex procurement requirements across the procurement lifecycle. Knowledge of UK Public Contract Regulations, The Procurement Act and Provider Selection Regime. It would be great if you had: Knowledge and experience of wider public sector.
