We are looking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist to work on Rowan Ward at Prospect Park Hospital. Offer assessments and interventions (both individual and group) to patients and carers. Develop resources and write reports to support your clinical work. Support the ward Counselling/Clinical Psychologist with the running of team formulation sessions, teaching and staff support sessions. Gather background information on patients who have recently been admitted to Rowan Ward. Input into Rowan Wards’ weekly Multi-Disciplinary Team meeting to support care planning for each patient. Be a valued member of the Quality Improvement team on Rowan Ward which lead on service development for the ward. As part of this work, take part in regular data analysis and accessible presentation of data. At times you might be asked to work on other wards at the hospital and/or to support the wards with non-Psychology tasks; only when this is needed for the safe running of the wards.
