Responsibilities: As the Health & Safety Manager for Froch Foods you'll play a pivotal role in our operations. You'll be instrumental in supporting the delivery of our strategy in this new role to the business and integrating Froch into the Cranswick family. You'll build a 'safety first' culture and be able to drive real change and a fast paced and complex food manufacturing environment. Froch Foods is an added value processor of predominantly pork and poultry-related products, it provides specialist processing capabilities to its retail partner as part of the production of a range of bacon and cooked meats products. The business operates from a dedicated facility in Stourton and employs circa 75 people. Key Accountabilities: Ensure compliance to safety legislation Lead the implementation of protective and preventive measures develop internal policies encourage initiatives for improvement Skills & Experience Required: Proven track record in senior Health & safety roles Strong regulatory knowledge Experience of working within FMCG and preferably the meat industry Be self-motivated, highly energetic with a flexible mindset Level 3 in H&S. Either IOSH Managing Safety or Cranswick equivalent. All relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures are reviewed and to current methods. Hazards and near-miss reporting training.
