The molecular pathology department has recently become the Cellular Pathology Genomic Centre for Kent and is implementing this in 2024-25. Molecular pathology carries out a wide range of genomic investigations on samples including biopsies and various specialist surgical specimens to determine the treatment course for Lung Breast And Colonic Cancer.
