To assist in the responsibility for operational management of the team, allocating and organising the work of all staff to meet service priorities. To be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient use of time with patients and for administrative duties To assist the service lead to manage the delegated budget for own service. Together with the service lead to identify cost pressures to the Trust, monitoring and controlling expenditure. To optimise the effective and efficient use of clinical and organisational skills and resources to ensure that service is highly responsive to clinical and local service priorities and needs. This includes waiting list management for any outpatient/outreach services provided by self or team. With service lead to performance manage staff within own service and, where appropriate, evaluating and dealing with competency issues as required. Ensure that all staff are fully inducted into own service including the safe and competent use of all equipment used, through teaching and supervision of practice. "}
