Exciting opportunities have arisen within our Trust to join the Urgent Care team. We are a 24/7 service covering all aspects of mental health. We are looking to appoint dynamic, experienced, committed and enthusiastic mental health nurses looking for a challenging job to develop your assessment skills within the Urgent Care Directorate. You can expect to achieve and build upon skills of working in a pressured environment, fast pace and richly cultural diversity team like Urgent Care teams which include the Place of Safety, The Psychiatric Decision Unit, NHS 111 , Street Triage team and the Call before to Convey Service. The Urgent Care Services is an innovative and fast developing team delivering mental health assessment, intervention, care planning, signposting and onward referrals for patients . We are offering you an opportunity to become a specialist nurse in the Urgent Care Directorate, develop your assessment skills and be part of this innovative team. You will be given the opportunities to rotate across the below areas: Psychiatric Decision Unit Place of Safety Suite Street Triage team Call before to Convey Services NHS 111 You must be a qualified mental health nurse with experience of leading a team within clinical settings and be prepared to work across a 24 hour rota. It is important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with mental health problems . You will be expected to under take front-line assessments, signposting, liaise with acute colleagues, and develop safe clinical management discharge plans. "}
