Bringing thousands of hours of entertainment to everyone everywhere. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Assistant to join our Studios team. Based predominantly within the ITV Studios Daytime slate, filled with Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women the Talent Assistant will also have the potential to work with other labels across Studios. Our Talent Assistants provide administrative support for the talent execs/managers/coordinators throughout the end to end hiring cycle as follows: Provide general administrative support through the full recruitment cycle and administer the contracting process across programme business areas as required ensuring that ITV contracting and compliance guidelines are adhered to. As directed, play a key role in creating and delivering a relevant social media approach to support a range of recruitment activities, campaigns and outreach as well as administering a range of initiatives to attract and secure high quality talent, embracing ITV’s diversity and inclusion agenda at all stages. Support the processing of applications through relevant applicant tracking systems ensuring adherence to all ITV processes and policies (training will be given). Support the set up of interviews and assessment days ensuring best experience for both candidates and hiring managers Assist with the posting of jobs across a range of sites and social media ensuring posts have an inclusive reach - keeping up to date with new sites and ways of working. Assist with the creation of Talent Pipelines/databases, uploading CVs and assisting with the ongoing management of talent pools as required. Assist with talent searches, availability checks, the setup of formal and speculative interviews as well as assessment days where required. Support the talent exec/manager on any entry level schemes or initiatives through the full cycle from outreach and support the issue of all paperwork. Assist with all critical pre-starter checks (eg right to work, references) Assist with the set up and organisation of any ITV led events eg. recruitment campaigns, networking events, CV workshops and assessment centres acting professionally at all times when representing ITV. Build knowledge of and comply with all legislation relevant to the recruitment cycle notably GDPR, employment and tax GDPR legislation (training will be given). Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria) Experience of providing excellent administrative support to several managers concurrently, processing a high volume workload within a busy and fast-paced environment to tight deadlines Experience of inputting data and managing a variety of documents/systems eg spreadsheets maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in ever changing circumstances Experience of dealing effectively and professionally with a range of people both within a company and externally Experience of assisting with the set up of small scale events and/or projects fulfilling an outward facing role as well as marketing via social media Excellent spelling and grammar with previous experience of creating social media posts/campaigns to engage a digital audience. Other things we’re looking for (key criteria) Some understanding of employment and GDPR legislation and its application in the context of recruitment and contracting (further training can be given). Experience of working in a professional business environment (higher education business management qualification or similar) using a range of approaches, systems and software packages in a fast turnaround fluid working environment. Experience of assisting with campaigns, events and initiatives including to attract new talent using a wide range of marketing tools including social media. A proactive team player working sensitively and collaboratively with others, but also experience using their own initiative to work independently when required. ITV is for everyone.
