As a Clinical Governance Manager within HUC you will use your healthcare experience and RCA training to promote, oversee and be influential in ensuring the consistency of high standards regarding the investigation and management of incidents. You will be responsible for embedding and championing excellence and robust governance processes across HUC to ensure that patients consistently receive high quality care. With your experience of dealing with patient safety, quality improvement and governance you will be responsible for supporting and leading complex patient safety incident investigations to include duty candour, drafting reports and the collation of statements and service level data. Provide high quality leadership, role modelling and act as an expert resource to clinical and operational teams in relation to all aspects of clinical quality and governance. Attend and chair the monthly Clinical Governance meetings with accountability for high quality agenda papers and meeting outputs. Support/ lead complex Patient Safety Incident Investigations. Provide cross cover and support as needed for other members of the team as necessary. Undertake other such duties commensurate with the seniority and experience of the post. "}
