We have a vacancy for a Digital Communications Officer to join the busy communications and engagement team within Cardiff and Vale UHB. The successful candidate will be required to produce effective communications for a range of audiences, have knowledge of social marketing tools; work with modern methods of digital communication and create engaging content. The post holder will be based with the Communications and Engagement Team at Woodland House, Maes y Coed Road, Cardiff. Communications and engagement are critical to the organisation setting the tone at the top and this post-holder will play a key role in enabling those values to be communicated widely. The post-holder will be expected to deliver content and mechanisms for dialogue between staff across the organisation; influence behaviour change amongst staff and the public through communication; and to provide the public with clear information whether that is service change, a major incident or how to access services. The post holder will also be expected to create platforms and advise on digital content which recognises and celebrates staff and UHB achievements to the benefit of the local population and wider health service as a means of valuing staff, sharing good practice and building confidence in the UHB as a healthcare provider and employer of choice. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
