This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work as a HCA in our tertiary service. We provide neurosurgery, neurology, neuro-radiology and spinal services for across East and West Sussex. With the addition of pre-assessment for our neurosurgical, neuro-radiology and spinal patients. Experience in an outpatient setting would be desirable, but is not essential. Are you a keen and passionate nurse, with the enthusiasm to seize every learning opportunity, and up-skill as required, to be able to facilitate the smooth running of our departments’ clinics for the benefit of patients, staff and Service Users alike? Act as patient/carer advocate at all times To work unsupervised, providing nursing care to patients attending the department Prioritise care and delegate workload activities as appropriate. Undertake a wide range of clinical and administrative duties. To have the skills and knowledge to work using own initiative whilst undertaking a wide range of clinical and administrative duties, including being able to act appropriately in emergency situations.
