Data Entry Assistant- 29:30 (0.79 WTE) Set Hours: Mon- Thur 8:30-14:30 Fri 8:30-14:00 Job Description To provide high quality support in the daily running of the department as an individual and team player. To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties required to maintain the smooth running of the department and enable the team to achieve their objectives and meet required deadlines. Travel to and attend schools to support the school immunisation programmes Although the role is primarily office based, candidates must be available to attend primary and high schools in the East and Mid Lothian area. Due to service demands, we would advise that this role is not suitable for home or hybrid working. NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
