This would be perfect for an experienced nurse within inpatient services looking to develop their skills and experience or for a nurse looking to return to inpatient care. Southgate ward is a mixed sex adult acute ward. We have an experienced team passionate about providing individualised holistic care. We are committed to continuing quality improvement and encourage all staff to be part of this. The Charge Nurse within a ward team is expected to take the lead in the implementation of individualised and responsive care planning, risk assessment and discharge facilitation. Within this role there is also an element of leadership and staff management for which excellent communication skills and the ability to self-reflect are critical. We will look to support you to develop your skills in a variety of ways, be that through leadership courses, mentorship, involvement in quality improvement projects as well as more formal qualifications. If you have the drive to provide excellent care, can demonstrate high quality clinical skills and are willing to go the extra mile to help make a difference to people's lives then we would love to hear from you.
