NHSFV are currently constructing a new National Treatment Centre 26 bedded ward for elective orthopaedic surgery. The NTC is operational on the acute site until construction complete and currently utilising 14 beds. You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work well independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You should have the ability to promote high quality person centred care and have a genuine interest in caring for people who are unwell. You must have a willingness and appetite for life-long learning and advancing the role of the Clinical Support Worker in order to develop and enhance your own personal development. You will be expected to work a flexible work pattern which includes working a 12 hour shift pattern across 7 days. The NTC unit will be a centre of excellence in orthopaedic surgery for patients across central Scotland and further.
