An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious, forwarding thinking therapy assistant to join our Stroke Rehabilitation Team on Granby ward, (working ideally across 5 days Monday to Friday. Working the hours over 4 days, will be considered for the right candidate). The team comprises of physiotherapists and occupational therapists working with patients with stroke. The role of the assistant is to support the therapists in the assessment, treatment and discharge planning of these patients, back into the community in a timely manner. It is important that you are organised and can work under pressure, along with having good written and verbal communication skills.
