You will be supported by 3 Deputy Team Leaders Main duties of the role Minimum of 100 characters and maximum of 1000 characters, including spaces. Responsibilities As the Team Leader for Ward Medicines Management Technicians, you will oversee pharmaceutical care provided to the wards by the team. Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing an experienced team of Medicines Management Technicians. Coordinating daily ward pharmacy operations, including medication history taking, drug supply, and patient counselling. Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Providing training, mentorship, and professional development for team members. Conducting audits and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Managing inventory and ensuring the availability of necessary medications. Involvement with medication incidents and implementing corrective actions. Provide HR leadership to the team. Co-ordinate rotas and a team-based approach to the service. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with extensive knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations, are essential.
