Contribute to the assessment of care. Organise and implement planned care once agreed with the supervising registered nurse/Dietitian. All care to be provided in partnership with parents/ carer, within the limitations of the role. Undertake tasks and procedures in which competence has been demonstrated and recorded, specific to the care environment in which the post holder is employed. Provide a wide variety of play and recreational activities to meet the specific needs of the infant, child and young person in hospital. Partake in patient risk assessments, as required. Contribute to the education of parents and carers, in partnership with the supervising registered nurse/dietitian.
