You will have the knowledge and skills to deliver evidence-based and outcome monitored psychological therapies. You will be a reflective practitioner with strengths to bring to a multi-disciplinary team. You will be committed to service user participation and collaborative working with children, young people, parents, carers and families. You will have a good understanding of safeguarding across the lifespan. You will have, or be willing to develop skills and knowledge to support the development of others, such as supervision and training, as well as clinical leadership skills to contribute to quality improvement and service development. Information regarding the different pathways is detailed below: Mood, Emotions and Relationships Pathway In this pathway, Clinical Psychologists work within a strong multi-disciplinary team, providing assessments and therapy to children with severe, chronic and enduring mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety-based disorders and Trauma. You would be expected to work with children, young people and families to understand their experiences and presenting concerns in order to provide an appropriate evidence-based intervention. You would have opportunity to provide consultation, clinical supervision and training. There are also opportunities for involvement in service development and research as well as activities to support developing leadership skills. The multi-disciplinary teams are diverse including; Clinical Psychology, Systemic Psychotherapists, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists, Speech and Language Therapists and Mental Health Practitioners from a range of backgrounds including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Creative Therapies. We have an excellent opportunity to join us in the Mood Emotions and Relationships (MERS) Pathway in South Devon & Torbay as part of our mental health provision . Its an exciting time of change as we develop needs-led pathways under iThrive and invest in training opportunities across the workforce to support this. We are passionate about our work and are committed to providing high quality services across Devon to improve outcomes for children and young people. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be offering high-quality psychological care to children and young people experiencing significant and complex mental health difficulties and their families. You will bring advanced formulation skills and consultation to your team alongside wider service development contributions. There will be CPD opportunities to support you. These may be to consolidate and develop knowledge and skills or to support you in transferring skills from another specialism. We encourage interest from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences, both personal and professional. You will have regular clinical supervision and separate line management. You will be supported with a job plan and opportunities to develop supervision and leadership alongside using research skills and engaging in service development.
