Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Appropriate NMC Registration Desirable criteria Degree NMC recognised Mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards following 18 months commencement in post Knowledge Essential criteria Willing to expand clinical role e.g. IV additives, venepuncture and cannulation Willingness to perform scrub duties. Awareness of changes within Nursing practice Knowledge of Clinical Governance and the relevance to practice Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures Desirable criteria Knowledge of ethical issues Evidence of clinical competence in area of speciality e.g. surgery Knowledge of Leadership and Management Research and Development Employer certification / accreditation badges Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
