This post will enable the post holder to further develop clinical leadership skills and provide an insight into ward management, allowing progression of both personal and professional objectives. The role will involve coordination of the coronary care unit, management of patient flow, triage and troubleshooting of telemetry and the management and supervision of junior nursing staff both on shift and in planning staffing for future shifts. The post holder will develop cardiac outreach skills and working within this remit will be expected.
