{"interviewQueryText":"What are some good interview questions in British English for the job description below?\n\n-------------------------------------------\n\nWard Clerk / Reception with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in York, England, United Kingdom\n\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the administration team on the Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) The role involves preparing the clinic notes for the patients returning to the unit, also scanning and the filing of patients notes on to the computer system (CPD) All training will be given. All ward clerking aspects of this role will evolve over time and further opportunities are available to progress in the organisation. Act as a point of contact for the receipt of enquires, which may be made via correspondence, the telephone, email, or face to face from for example, patients, visitors, staff and others, both internal and external. Provide general information, as required, directly to patients, relatives and staff. Resolve routine problems and issues arising from contacts, making judgements on the appropriate referral of such problems where necessary. Undertake basic ward clerk tasks, for example, production and issuing of already prepared standard and routine letters, distribution of incoming/outgoing post, photocopying and completion of standard forms/returns. Collation of all relevant patient records, for example, case notes and investigation results, ensuring their availability for clinical staff when required and be responsible for the maintenance of relevant filing systems. May be required to type/word process routine letters and other appropriate documents. As necessary make transport arrangements for patients and ensure that any follow-up patient appointments are made prior to patient discharge. As required, input data to relevant computerised databases, and interrogate such databases for standard information on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.
