Operational service delivery To assist the Spectrum Community Health (SCH) prison pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services to ensure continuity of supply of medicines To contribute to the timely and efficient supply of dispensed medicines to prisoners To work within locally approved policies and standard operating procedures To assist the prison pharmacy team in the review of repeat prescribing systems and assisting prison healthcare staff in the implementation of improvements that ensure robust systems are in place To assist the prison pharmacy team in responding to all major MHRA drug alerts through facilitation of appropriate action within prison healthcare over an appropriate timeframe and to support any medication changes that occur as a result To assist the prison pharmacy team in undertaking clinical audit and sharing the outcomes of the audits, in order to facilitate improvement and changes in practice To assist the prison pharmacy team with preparing user-friendly resources and information that support health professionals in the implementation of national guidance and promotes rational, cost-effective prescribing e.g. Medicines bulletin, prescribing tips BE THE DIFFERENCE IN HEALTHCARE We’re looking for passionate individuals to join our diverse and innovative team.
