Band 3 HCSW Health Care Support Worker 35 HOURS P/W Permanent Department: Inverclyde HSCP - Community Nursing Hours: 35 hours per week worked 4 on 4 off 8am 1pm then 5pm 10pm split shift Grade: Band 3 Base: Inverclyde Community Adult Nursing Role of the department: To provide a community nursing service to the housebound population of Inverclyde. The Job The Applicant Will Be Doing A health care support worker is required. Experience is essential and community experience is desirable. To assist the community nursing, community alarms and care at home service to provide effective and holistic nursing care to service users within Inverclyde HSCP. To work collaboratively in both a planned and responsive manner to ensure nursing skill and expertise is afforded to residents of Inverclyde HSCP. To provide a community nursing service to the housebound population of Inverclyde in conjunction and collaboration with HSCP colleagues from community alarms, care at home and wider multi-disciplinary team. Rotation within Inverclyde locality is anticipated as service demands change. Skills / Qualifications Community experience would be advantageous but not essential. NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates will take place. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check.
