The Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service Group provides a broad range of community and inpatient services to a wide population, and is responsible for providing Perinatal, Child & Adolescent, Adult, Older People, Rehabilitation , Substance Misuse, Forensic and Learning Disabilities Services. The successful candidate will join a clinical team including consultant psychiatry colleagues, nurses, psychologists, therapists and a wider medical workforce to deliver SBU Community CAMHS as part of the CAMHS Directorate. The service provides CAMH services across Part 1 and Part 2 of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure (2010), including Local Primary Mental Health Support Services, liaison services with schools and local authority services and a Crisis Team. The CAMH service in Swansea Bay works closely with Community Paediatrics and Adult Mental Health Services and with its Local Authority partners; Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. CAMHS also link closely with the Early Intervention Psychosis team hosted by the Adult Mental Health Directorate (for ages 14 - 25) and the Neurodevelopmental Service hosted by Children's Services Directorate.
