We are searching for extra special Healthcare Support Workers who have experience, passion and pride when caring for younger persons and this vacancy would suit someone who is looking for an exciting opportunity and wants to work on a Young Persons Ward. To provide support, and spend therapeutic time with an allocated group of children and young people. To promote and support the physical health, comfort, wellbeing and recovery of children and young people, and to assist them in re-establishing their place in the community, as appropriate. To assist Registered Professionals in assessments and care planning/ implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans. To provide support and day-to-day supervision to junior staff members as required, demonstrating the Health Care Support Worker role and role modelling good practice.
