As a Medical Secretary Your Main Duties Will Cover Medical audio transcription of clinical correspondence Carry out administrative instructions dictated in the correspondence including booking appointments via the Booking and Scheduling Department Update NPSA16 investigation tracker following transcription of correspondence Deal with internal and external telephone enquiries from patients, staff and external agencies Undertake routine office duties including printing, scanning and filing Organising your workload to meet our KPI’s To Do This We Need You To Be able to prioritise your workload effectively Pride yourself on being organised Have an excellent eye for detail Be confident using a computer and Microsoft Office Have an excellent telephone manner Be able to communicate effectively and manage patient expectation Strive to give our patients an excellent customer service Be enthusiastic, resilient, confident, and committe The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester.
