Then come and join us at University Hospitals Sussex Due to internal promotions, maternity leave and staff commencing their midwifery training we have vacancies for Maternity Care Assistants to work within the Maternity Unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. The post involves working as part of a team under the supervision and guidance of registered midwives. This will be a rotational post working in all areas including the Delivery Suite and Delivery Suite Theatre, Postnatal Ward and Antenatal Department. The work is very challenging and demanding, involving long shifts, night shifts and weekend work but is also enormously rewarding. You will be helping to provide care for women at an incredibly sensitive and emotional time and you will need to have good communication skills and demonstrate great sensitivity.
