Following a review of the Health Boards Operational Structure, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior operational leader to join us as Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the role will be responsible for leading the day to day delivery and management of operational services across the integrated Health Board. The role will be crucial in establishing and leading our new Clinical Care Group Structure. The successful candidate will be an experienced senior operational manager that has an unwavering desire to do the very best for our patients, population and staff. You will have a track record of delivering improved quality and performance across a range of services, whilst achieving value for money. You will be highly skilled in building relationships internally and externally that support improvement and change at pace and scale. You will be comfortable in taking accountability and responsibility for performance standards and working as part of a senior leadership team. The role will be broad in scope and scale covering the full breadth of the operational delivery agenda. You will have the credibility to act as the Chief Operating Officer when required.
