University of Exeter - PGDip Psychological Therapies Practice We have an exciting opportunity to undertake training to become a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist within Herefordshire NHS Talking Therapies. The role is suitable for applicants qualified in a core profession or who meet the Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) outlined by the BABCP. Completed KSA Portfolios must be submitted to the University at interview. Successful candidates will be expected to complete the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy High Intensity Postgraduate Diploma with University of Exeter. The training commences 6th January 2025 consisting of 2 days University study and 3 days supervised practice in service. On successful completion of the diploma you will be eligible to become accredited with the BABCP and will be offered a permanent Band 7 High Intensity Therapist post in the Service. You will maintain clear and accurate clinical records and will be supported to embed learning and reflect on practice via regular supervision. You will be recording clinical sessions for academic purposes. You will be offered regular opportunity for peer support. You will share an effective interface both with your team and with relevant allied agencies within the care pathway.
