EPUT is an integrated Community and Mental Health Trust and we are looking for someone with a keen interest in Nutrition to join our community team. The post is nominally based at Latton Bush Centre, Harlow, but will cover a wider geographic area across West Essex including Epping Forest, Harlow and Saffron Walden. At Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) we are keen to recruit, retain and further aid the development of enthusiastic and confident staff working within our team. This fixed term post would suit someone wanting to gain or further develop their experience in Nutrition and Dietetics and the NHS. It would suit someone with a science background and good communication skills and provide experience for someone considering a future career in Dietetics. The team share a varied and interesting caseload of patients in their own homes, in GP practice and nursing/residential homes including patients on home enteral feeding. Main duties of the job Your role will focus on supporting the team with patient monitoring and reviews under the direction and support of the dietitians. This will include face to face reviews in a variety of settings such as Care Homes, community locations and patient homes but also telephone consultations from base. You will also support the dietitians with community weight monitoring using specialist equipment.
