The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting colleagues across the Performance, National Performers List and Appraisal and Revalidation Sectors. The Professional Standards Team is responsible for ensuring high quality and safe primary care services by managing any concerns relating to primary care practitioners. Our priority is patient safety, and by working with primary care practitioners we endeavour to maintain the provision of safe clinical services to patients. As a Professional Standards Manager you will manage a team of professional standards officers, and work closely with clinical advisors and other professionals. Responsible for providing advice and support to panel members at the Professional Standards Group (PSG) and the Performer List Decision Panel (PLDP).
