About us The Islington Practice Based Mental Health Service has grown over the last four years from a pilot service covering five GP practices to a fully commissioned service covering all GP practices in Islington. The team has a broad remit, working as one of the key points of access to secondary care community services in the Trust, and receives referrals from GPs, adult social care, housing, the police and voluntary sector services. The service sits on the boundary between primary and secondary care and aims to better integrate physical and mental health by working more closely with our GP colleagues in a flexible, creative and collaborative way. The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.
