The Creative Therapist will provide assessment and intervention to Stroke patients who are identified as requiring level 2 Psychological care. Alongside 1:1 interventions, the creative therapist will establish, run and evaluate a group intervention session. The Creative Therapist will attend the ICSS multi-disciplinary team meetings and add to discussions, problem solving and advocating for the patient, using a Psychological Framework. The Creative Therapist will have access to a mentor for the duration of the pilot. The pilot aims to identify the benefits, challenges and outcomes of a Creative Therapist working within an ICSS with particular focus on the impact of closing the gap in access to Psychological care.
