You will work autonomously alongside our welcoming and supportive Nursing and Administration team. An excellent opportunity to develop skills and broaden experience within this proactive surgery. Your responsibilities as a General Practitioner; The following are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions Carry out patient consultations at home and within the surgery Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing Carry out home visits where necessary Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams Opportunity to become involved with Enhanced Services such as - Minor Surgery/Joint Injections - IUD/Implants - Diabetes - Substance Misuse Clinic About us Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions Carry out patient consultations at home and within the surgery Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing Carry out home visits where required Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments Carry out minor surgery where required Take part in practice management and administration Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams "}
