Blaenavon Medical Practice is seeking a General Practitioner to join their well-established surgery, now under new management. The role involves working autonomously alongside a supportive team of nursing and administration staff. Key responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting patient consultations both in the surgery and at home, and monitoring patients' conditions. The GP will also engage in home visits, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and have opportunities to participate in Enhanced Services such as minor surgery and specialized clinics.

The GP may occasionally be required to undertake additional tasks depending on workload and staffing levels, while also taking part in practice management and administration activities.
