The post-holder will work as part of the UCLH clinical trials team to provide the pharmacy input and management of clinical trials across all sites in a manner consistent with Good Clinical Practice GCP requirements and other relevant guidelines. Plan and participate in the risk assessment of clinical trials with respect to systems, patients, and staff at UCLH Participate in clinical trial feasibility assessment meetings, to communicate feedback for our services for safety, capacity, and capability. Support the day-to-day smooth running of the operational and dispensary functions of the pharmacy clinical trials team. Support with the mentoring and development of the clinical trial technical team. Monitor the progress of clinical trials in set up or undergoing amendment, and support or escalate as needed to maintain agreement timeframes. Provide advice to the wider research community when appropriate and escalate to senior pharmacists when appropriate.
