We are looking for a friendly enthusiastic and hard working nurse with six months experience to work in Ophthalmology clinic. You will be expected to assist with every day management of patient care, providing comfort, support and information to the patient’s and relatives and ensuring high standards of patient care. You will have opportunity to work in all areas of Ophthalmology. To co-ordinate clinical activities and develop clinical expertise through leadership To assist in the smooth running and organisation of the shift team. To rotate through the Ophthalmology Department. To provide assist in the assessment and management of patients with a range of eye conditions who attend Ophthalmology Department To ensure high quality patient care is delivered and take appropriate steps if this is not the case To participating in the delivery and organisation of formal and informal teaching To participate in activities/projects which contribute to the provision and delivery of evidence-base practise.
