We are looking to appoint motivated individuals to join our Payroll Team at York Hospital. We are a friendly team providing a vital back-office service. Successful candidates with NHS and payroll experience will commence as a Band 4. If you don't have any payroll or NHS experience, training will be provided and support given to gain a payroll qualification to progress within the team and progress to a Band 4. It is essential that this work is carried out accurately and efficiently. You must be able to demonstrate that you have the necessary organisational, administrative and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and using your own initiative. To provide simple day to day control of a section of the Trust’s Payroll. Responsibility on a self managed basis to ensure consistent high level of performance delivery in a confidential, accountable and customer focussed manner. You will have a willingness to embrace new technologies and change. Experience in PAYE and Pensions, whilst beneficial, is not essential, as training will be provided. Good interpersonal, organisational and planning skills are essential for this post, as are excellent communication and customer care skills. This position offers a good development opportunity with potential for further progression.
